We at EDO acknowledge and pay tribute to First Nations peoples’ historical and ongoing custodianship of the environment and their deep connection to Country. We recognise and celebrate our First Nations clients and their communities, who continue to fight for justice for their people and their lands.
On this day, we pay respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise that 26 January marks the beginning of colonisation and the continuing impacts this has on connections to land, culture, spirituality, ancestry, and community. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land.
