Candidate profile

We are looking for a talented media and marketing professional with demonstrated project management skills and high emotional intelligence to lead a team of talented marketeers.

The role is responsible for growing EDO’s brand and media presence both in Australia and internationally and running two major lines of income generation including our appeals and regular giving program. The successful candidate will have five years’ experience in building and executing media strategies for maximum cut through across print and online. They will have high emotional intelligence to lead a team that works across the country and can coach that team to generate the highest professional growth. They will lead the strategy to diversify our income portfolio with a particular focus on generating regular givers.

The opportunity

We are looking for a strong communicator with demonstrated marketing and media experience to join our Fundraising, Marketing & Communications Team.

This role offers the opportunity to promote the role of EDO and its achievements for communities, nature, and the environment. You will be responsible for developing and executing EDO’s marketing, media, and communications strategies across the organisation’s paid, earned, shared, and owned channels. You will manage staff, resources, outputs, and priorities of the Marketing & Media Team to achieve the priorities of EDO’s FMC Team and the overall goals of the organisation. You will oversee EDO’s content, website, and social media platforms to ensure that the overall aesthetic, visual language, key messages, and tone of voice are in brand alignment and executed with high understanding and knowledge of the supporter.
