EDO has made a submission to the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements (Bushfire Royal Commission).
We hope that this Royal Commission will investigate and make recommendations for how Australia could achieve greater national coordination and accountability – through common national standards, rule-making, reporting and data sharing – with respect to key preparedness and resilience responsibilities, including in relation to mitigating and adapting to the impacts of climate change.
