EDO is a community legal centre specialising in public interest environmental law and policy. Our mission is to help the community protect the environment through the law.

We have entered an exciting period of growth and are expanding our Fundraising, Marketing and Communications function.

You will work closely the Fundraising Manager and others in the team to deliver the very best supporter care and experience.

Note regarding working arrangements: Some EDO offices are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Depending on location, the successful candidate will be able to start the job working from home with their own IT equipment and Internet connection. Longer-term working arrangements will be discussed at the interview stage.

Selection Criteria:

– Minimum 3 years in a supporter care/service/experience team in the NFP
sector
– An understanding of databases
– Excellent attention to detail without sacrificing efficiency
– Strong communication skills and willingness to interact regularly with
suppliers, stakeholders and EDO supporters
– Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work in a distributed team
– Ability to work remotely in the short-term

Location: Australia-wide on the proviso that remote working arrangements are satisfactorily in place.

Hours: Full-time 5 days (37.5 hours) per week.

Contract and Salary:
This position is a permanent role. This position is covered by
the SCHADS Award. Remuneration in the range of grade 4.2 – 4.4 based on

Duty Statement – Supporter Experience Specialist

Initial responsibilities may include:

– Deliver automation, manage volunteers, external freelancers or complete
tasks in areas such as receipting, RTS, donation processing, managing
fundraising inbox and other regular supporter experience tasks.

– Delivering excellent supporter care: confidently and professionally assisting supporters in their dealings with EDO, helping facilitate giving and ensuring supporters’ experience of EDO is positive and fruitful

– Working with Database Specialist and Fundraising Manager to provide
excellent database management so the fundraising program team can
effectively and proactively maximise donor retention.

– Working in collaboration with FMC management team to deliver innovative projects to facilitate best possible supporter experience.

– Working with the FMC Management Team to monitor and provide insights into the mid-donor pool for a pipeline into Major donor pool.

– Seek opportunities for personal and professional development, particularly related to their specific areas of responsibility

General:
