Professor Ben Boer

Professor Boer is the coordinator for the postgraduate environmental law program for 1999. He teaches Environmental Law and Policy, Heritage Law, Natural Resources Law, Asian and Pacific Environmental Law and Comparative Environmental Law. He is co-director of the Australian Centre for Environmental Law. He has served as a consultant to various international bodies including UNDP, UNEP, the World Bank and Asian Development Bank in the following countries: Australia, Federated States of Micronesia, India, Kenya, Nepal, New Caledonia, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, Vietnam and Samoa.

Professor Boer has published widely in the area of environmental and natural resources law and policy. His latest book, with Associate Professor Donald R Rothwell and Mr Ross Ramsay is International Environmental Law in the Asia Pacific Kluwer Law International 1998.
