The EDO offers a free telephone advice service, the Environmental Law Line.
The EDO deals with around 1,200 telephone inquiries per annum, with about
50% coming from regional and rural NSW. Callers to the Law Line are referred
to the EDO from a wide range of sources including other community legal
centres, conservation groups, members of Parliament and government departments.
In addition to providing legal advice, the EDO responds to numerous other
requests for information, such as EDO publications and workshops.
If you require legal advice on a public interest environmental or planning
law issue, you can call the above numbers.
