Why
Join?
Membership
of the EDO (ACT) will allow you to keep up to date on the latest
public interest environmental legal issues in the ACT. As a member
you will receive our quaterly newsletter and invitations to special
functions throughout the year. You are also entitled to vote at
our general meetings and nominate for the Management Commitee.
Your
membership, subscription or donation will help the EDO
- Privide
legal advice and representation;
- Promote
changes to environmental laws;
- provide
community legal education.
Your
membership will also help the EDO provide legal services, including
providing representation in Courts and Tribunals to those wishing
to protect the environment, for which no government funding is
available.
How
do I become a member or renew my membership?
If
you are committed to a better environment in the ACT and surrounding
regions of NSW and wish to become a member of the EDO, please
download the online membership form and mail it to us together
with your membership fee:

How
much is membership ?

Individual: $5
-
Small non-profit organisation: $50.00

Large non profit organisation: $82.50
Membership
is annual and last until the end of the financial year in which
you join. It can be renewed after that by completing and forwarding
to us a membership form with the requisite fee.Fees for membership
renewal are the same as the initial membership fees.
